71 Queens Rd
A new building design for 71 Queens Road in the heart of Melbourne with spectacular views over Albert Park Lake. The design takes advantage of the existing building’s height as a precedent to allow the new building to exceed the building height envelope and allow 14 levels of apartments to be incorporated.
The project consists of a total of 224 apartments made up of 1 bedroom & 2 bedroom typologies, including basement parking and a residential gym. The layouts look at maximising both City and Albert Park Views by pushing out the living rooms to allow at least two sides of glazing.
The design also incorporates a pedestrian thoroughfare to its south side to promote circulation towards public transport located on St Kilda Road.
